About the Artist
I discovered my passion for art at an early age, winning my first art show at just ten years old. From that moment, both myself and my parents recognized I had a natural gift for creativity and visual expression.
Years later, a simple yet powerful moment reaffirmed my artistic calling. After creating a drawing for my girlfriend—now my wife—she looked at me and said, “You’re supposed to be an artist.” That encouragement became the spark that reignited my journey. I went on to exhibit my work throughout the Midwest, earning numerous awards and ultimately opening my own art store in the Mall of America in Minnesota.
When family life began, I traded the traveling art circuit for something closer to home. I became a high school coach in lacrosse, football, and wrestling, later earning a degree in History that led to a fulfilling career as a Para Professional educator. Even away from the canvas, my creative energy never waned—I channeled it into mentoring young people, building teams, and inspiring others through dedication, discipline, and heart.
A lifelong creator, my artistry extends far beyond the studio. I've restored and painted classic cars, renovated homes, launched multiple retail ventures—including stores in the two largest malls in America—and developed an innovative health and wellness app.
Today, my life has come full circle, returning to the studio where my creative journey first began. My current work explores color, form, and movement through oils, acrylics, and fluid paint—blending spontaneity with refined craftsmanship. Each piece reflects a lifetime of exploration, curiosity, and hands-on devotion to the creative process.
Beyond the studio; I've completed nine marathons, visited more than forty national parks with his wife, and enjoy annual Las Vegas trips with the same lifelong friends I've had for over four decades. I am a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan and one of the top 100 fantasy football players in the world, where I'm still holding out hope for that elusive million-dollar grand prize.
Lastly, to the people who my world revolves around, my wife, kids, and friends. Thank you very much for the daily nudge to use my God given talent to create art. I love you guys, Dad, Bob, Coach Bob
